DCR-L (PDF Document)
The power rating for end fed or center fed configurations is 1000 watts. The DCR-L is designed to
be an inexpensive alternative for applications including Class A stations, repeaters and
translator sites, and remote site applications where a non-pressurized antenna is needed.
DCR-H (PDF Document)
The model DCR-H is rated at 4 kW per bay
input power with a maximum rating of 12 kW in end-fed arrays of 3 or more bays and 24 kW
in center-fed arrays of 6 or more bays. The DCR-H antennas are designed for use by Class A
stations. This is a very rugged antenna designed for use in any environment. It is
available with the following optional features:
- Deicers
- Low wind load Radomes
- Beam Tilt
- Null Fill
- Special Bay Spacing
- Directional patterns
DCR-C (PDF Document)
The model DCR-C is rated at 10 kW per bay
with a maximum of 40 kW. This is our most popular model given its durable construction and
high power capability. It is used extensively by Class C broadcasters. This DCR-C antenna
is available with many options including the following:
- Deicers
- Low wind load Radomes
- Beam Tilt
- Null Fill
- Special Bay Spacing
- Directional patterns
DCR-M (PDF Document)
Conservatively rated at 18 kW per bay, and available with
a variety of feed systems for very high power rating this antenna is especially suitable
for multi station systems. It has a very wide usable band width with a VSWR of 1.2:1
over 10 MHz. The DCR-M antenna has found widespread acceptance as the antenna of
choice for multi station systems. This antenna is also recommended for single frequency
systems mounted on large tower structures or in applications where moderate icing
conditions exist due to its low ice sensitivity. For extreme icing conditions optional
deicers are available. Also available as options on the DCR-M are beam tilt, null fill,
special bay spacing and directional patterns.
Side Mounted Vertically Polarized FM Antennas
DCV (PDF Document)
The model DCV antennas are rated at 5 kW per bay input
power with a maximum of 40 kW. The DCV antenna has a broad bandwidth and is suitable for
multistation use. Available options include radomes, beam tilt, null fill, special bay
spacing and directional patterns.
Circularly Polarized FM Panel Antennas
This model is designed for multi station applications. It
has a 5 MHz band width a high power rating of 10 kW per panel. Features of this antenna
include low cost, low wind load, stainless steel panel construction and light weight
aluminum radiating elements. This antenna is also available in vertical or horizontal
polarizations. It's four individually fed elements per panel provide this capability of
extremely directional patterns or omnidirectional applications.
Designed with a single crossed dipole radiating element,
this panel antenna has a band width of 12 MHz. This configuration has very low wind load
as well as a very high power rating of 20 KW per panel and can be used for directional and
omnidirectional patterns.
Broadband high power panel antenna especially suitable for
multistation applications where a three around configuration is desirable. This antenna is
also suitable for tower with a large cross-section. It is made for applications which
cover the entire FM band.
Single station FM panel antenna for three around design
which features a single feed per panel. This simpler design is more economical than the
broader panel panels. It is suitable for multiplexing frequencies with up to a 4.5 MHz
bandwidth. This panels and dipoles are extremely durable and constructed of a combination
of hot dipped galvanized steel and stainless steel.
This antenna is designed for FM/VHF or FM/Channel 6
combined operation. It is a very broadband antenna capable of operating over the entire FM
band. The TCB antenna has a high power rating and is ideal for multistation operation for
omnidirectional or directional applications. The TCB is a four around design which is
capable of a wide variety of pattern shapes in addition to superior omnidirectionality in
the standard configuration.
Horizontally Polarized FM Panel Antennas
THP
FM panel antennas are generally utilized in
a number of specific situations:
- To achieve better azimuth patterns on larger towers than
crossed element arrays can provide.
- High Power and/or very directional applications
- Multistation or shared facilities.
All antennas are designed specific to the particular needs
of the station(s) and to tower limitations. Dielectric's panel antennas are described in
general terms and we will assist the station or consultant in choosing the proper design
and configuration to achieve project goals.
Pattern
Study and Optimization
Dielectric offers the industry's only anechoic chamber FM
pattern measurements. The chamber utilizes the latest state of the art methods of FM
antenna pattern measurement.
