President's Message
Thank you for visiting Dielectric’s
home on the internet. I’m proud to say that Dielectric is a company on the move. From our roots in terrestrial radio and television broadcasting, we’ve evolved from an antenna system manufacturer to a provider of a broad range of solutions — not only for radio and television, but for Mobile Media as well. The world of communications is fast-changing, and Dielectric is on the leading edge.
Recognizing that many of today’s consumers now access programming through mobile devices, we’re busy engineering innovations for the wireless world. Our proven strengths in design and manufacturing have helped us to expand our company into the Mobile Media market. We now offer transmission line, antennas, and filters specifically catered to the unique needs our customers face in the wireless communications business.
Dielectric is a prominent player in the development of HD Radio™ as well. Among our successes in this market is the recent purchase of our unique HDFMVee master antenna by American Tower. This antenna brings HD functionality to a number of stations in the St. Louis area, helping them to make the leap into a new era of radio broadcasting.
Within our plant here in Maine, we’ve implemented lean manufacturing and six sigma to speed production times and boost our competitiveness in the market. Already known for our commitment to superior-quality products, we recently confirmed our stringent quality guidelines by registering with the ISO 9001:2000 standards.
Throughout our company’s evolution, we’ve remained dedicated to creating new, innovative products that provide superior performance for a variety of broadcast markets. This just goes to show that the more things change, the more they stay the same.
