Raymond, Maine – Premier Mexican media conglomerate Grupo Imagen Multimedia and broadcast integrator Escape Audio S.A. de C.V. have awarded Dielectric a substantial contract for television broadcast antenna systems throughout the country. Dielectric’s proven track record with Broadcasters in Mexico was instrumental in the decision making process.

This contract will support the national expansion of Grupo Imagen’s new national television network, which will commence in 2016 following the group’s winning bid in the Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT) auction to build a new national broadcast television network.

The Dielectric contract includes slot-style TV antennas, transmission line, filters, and interconnects. Developing the proposal involved months of collaboration with Grupo Imagen and Escape, including numerous meetings in Mexico. Within the country, projects such as this are commonly divided among multiple vendors, however Dielectric received the entire contract. Dielectric is pleased to be in an ongoing position of providing equipment to Mexican Broadcasters.

Keith Pelletier, GM and VP of Dielectric said, “I believe the depth and expertise of our engineering and commercial teams was a big factor in Dielectric being awarded the contract. Our teams worked closely for many, many months to come up with an optimal solution, and the engineering teamwork paid off. The commercial terms in addition to the strong engineering brought closure to this deal.” Mr. Pelletier added, “Our customer-focused perspective and high-quality products have been the foundation of our company for over 7 decades, and the reason that Dielectric has such a strong customer loyalty. We are looking forward to providing these antenna systems and supporting the rollout of Grupo Imagen networks.”
